Every industry around the globe is being completely disrupted. Brands know a new approach is needed. But most don't realize the strategic underpinnings need to change. Great brands are no longer built through interruptive advertisements. Friction argues that brands don't simply need clever messages or new, shiny technologies. They need a. They create very little friction. Rough surfaces like rock and sand create much more friction, and are easy to grip on to. It is harder to move things when there is a lot of friction holding them back, but if there were no friction at all, people would slip and slide around whenever they took a step.

Inseparable Books. Friction makes two notebooks, intertwined by their pages, impossible to pull apart! Notebooks are a necessity in every science setting. Graphs, observations, procedures all of science falls by the wayside without a way of recording the information. First book I read by Sandra Brown was "Mean Streak". It was a great attention grabbing suspense & I liked the main characters, but story was definitely fictional. Decided to read "Friction". The story was so ridiculous. Didn't care for the melancholy, "tough guy", main character. The thrown in love scenes were distasteful & unromantic. Friction is directed opposite the direction of relative motion or the intended direction of motion of either of the surfaces. Tension (T, F t) The force exerted by an object being pulled upon from opposite ends like a string, rope, cable, chain, etc. Tension is directed along the axis of the object.

A Note From Sandra. First of all, when I say that my hero Crawford Hunt is a Texas Ranger, I’m not referring to the baseball team. He’s an officer in the elite law enforcement agency around which much Texas lore has been spun– from chasing gunslingers and renegade Comanches, to the deadly ambush of Bonnie and Clyde, to the much more recent apprehension of the man convicted of murdering.
